Cookie Policy

Last updated: 18 September 2026. This page explains how ChampionChoice LLC (“we”) uses cookies and similar storage on ChampionChoice. It sits next to our Privacy Policy.

1. What we mean by cookies

A cookie is a small file a site can store on your device. This site is mostly static HTML. We do not run a tag manager or ad network on our own pages. We do use the browser’s localStorage and sessionStorage for two first-party flags. Those are cookie-like: they stay on your device and are read by our script on later visits.

We do not use those flags to identify you by name, to advertise, or to sell a profile. They are necessary for the age reminder and for the banner not to nag you after you accept.

3. What we do not set on our pages

  • No advertising cookies.
  • No analytics pixels (Google Analytics, Meta, TikTok, and the like).
  • No “share with friends” social plugins that drop third-party cookies on load.
  • No affiliate or retargeting cookies on ChampionChoice HTML.

4. Third-party cookies from games

When you press Play, an iframe loads a studio demo (Play’n GO, Mascot, and others). Those pages are not ours. They may set cookies, local storage, or a demo session id to run the game, keep language, or measure that a demo launched. We do not read those cookies. If you do not want them, do not press Play, or block third-party cookies in your browser. Blocking them can stop a demo from loading.

Tower Dash on Google Play is a separate Android app. Google Play and the app developer set their own cookies and identifiers after you leave our site.

5. Host logs

The company that hosts these files may log IP address, user-agent, and the path you requested. That is a server log, not a cookie we drop. Typical rotation is 30–90 days. We use it to keep the site up and to look at abuse, not to market to you.

6. Legal basis

The age flag and the banner flag are used so we can run an 18+ lounge and remember a choice you made (legitimate interest / your request). We do not treat them as “sale” or “share” of personal information under US state privacy laws. Contact mail is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Your choices

  • Accept the banner to store cc-cookie and hide the bar.
  • Clear cookies and site data in your browser to wipe both flags. The age gate and the banner will show again.
  • Block third-party cookies if you want studio demos not to store anything. Some games will then fail.
  • Write to ChampionChoice@proton.me with the subject “Cookies” if you have a question about this page.

8. Changes

If we add a tracker, we will update this page and the date at the top before we turn it on. We do not currently plan to add advertising cookies.
